2018 Anzac Day Ceremony
2016 ANZAC Day ceremony
Students from Kindergarten to Year 6, along with staff and members of the community, joined together in the hall for a special assembly to commemorate ANZAC Day. The student leaders explained the meaning of the ANZAC tradition, and WO2 Christian Oakley delivered the commemorative address. We were very fortunate to have members from 5 CCSB and 3/4 RNSW to provide the catafalque party, bugler and drummer.
On Saturday 13th September Spr Teddy Gilbert attended the "Liverpool Remembers" Open Day at the Liverpool Regional Museum. Gilbert watched re-enactments of the Light Horse Regiment, and learned about the uniforms, vehicles and equipment used by soldiers in WW1. Gilbert made some new friends and enjoyed the music by the Liverpool Brass band as well as a sausage sizzle lunch. What a good day!
