Round 1 Junior Cricket
Last Friday, the junior cricket team played Newbridge Heights at Amalfi Park. It was fantastic to see how excited and enthusiastic the students were for their first game of the year. Our junior team played extremely well but were narrowly beaten by 62 to 54. Excellent performances by Isaac and Jack who hit excellent 6's and Nathan who took a great catch that other teammates described as the catch of the season. Brilliant behaviour was shown by the boys in most of their first PSSA game.
Well done boys!
Round 1 Senior Cricket
Last Friday, the senior cricket team also played Newbridge Heights at Amalfi Park. In a tough game, our senior team narrowly defeated Newbridge Heights 88 to 86. A great catch from the slips by Angus and Josh Paxton hitting 2 wickets in a row started us off fantastically. It looks like this could be a promising year as the boys have showed great potential so far.
Well done, boys.
